Dolores Chavez
June 27, 1925 — January 18, 2015
Dolores Chavez, 89, was born in Los Angeles on June 27, 1925 and passed away at her residence in Montebello, surrounded by her loving family on January 18, 2015. She was previously the bookkeeper for St. Benedict Church or 33 years.
She was also an active and avid volunteer at both the Beverly Hospital Guild and Altar Society of Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello, both of which she served as president. Every year, she looked forward to helping coordinate the Altar Society Mother's Day Fashion Show during which she loved spending time with her daughter, stepdaughters, granddaughters and stepgranddaughters.
Dolores is survived by her daughter, Sarah L. (Levi) Jaramillo of Montclair, her grandaughters, Mary Grace Pittaway of Montclair and Patty Nicole (Ariel) Torres of Riverside and her grandson, Anthony Jeffery Jaramillo of Montclair. She also leaves 3 step daughters and their children. Dolores is predeceased by her sister, Mary Kimberlin.
