Donald Lee Russell was born on October 27, 1928 in Norman, Oklahoma to Lawrence Albert and Ruth Ann (Smith) Russell. He entered into eternal rest on April 2, 2018 in Los Alamitos, California at the age of 89.
With dedication and hard work, Donald was a Corporate Vice President for Boys Market for over 35 years. He was an avid golfer, having played for at least 40 years. After retirement he enjoyed the sport even more, playing every Saturday with the same foursome for many years. He also loved to watch golf on television.
Donald is survived by his loving family, his wife, Bobbie Josephine Russell, his daughter, Donna Brambila (Ernest) of Pasadena, his son, Michael Russell of Garden Grove, and his daughter, Robin Harnen of Alabama. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, his 7 great grandchildren, and one great granddaughter on the way. He was greeted at Heaven's Gate by his sister, Ruth Ellis and his brother, Charles Russell. He also leaves his 5 nieces and 3 nephews. Donald will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
