Doris Evangeline Clemetson
September 20, 1921 — July 23, 2017
Doris Evangeline Clemetson, 95, was born on September 20, 1921 in Sinai, Brookings County, South Dakota to Sivert Nelson and Edna Thompson and entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2017 in Vancouver, Washington.
With a helpful heart and hard working hands, Doris was a domestic multitask-er, making her home a loving and nurturing environment for over 60 years.
A beloved wife, mother, aunt, cousin, friend, and homemaker, Doris was an amazing cook and always loved to have people over to her home. She clearly had the gift of hospitality.
Doris had an unwavering faith in God. Throughout her life, she was very involved in serving at church, teaching Sunday School for many years, working with high school youth, hosting Bible Studies, and being a prayer warrior for so many of us.
Doris was married to her loving husband Russell for 62 wonderful years. They are together again in the loving presence of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Doris is survived by her loving family: Son, Dennis "Dennie" Clemetson (Diana) of Yucaipa, California, Daughter, Victoria "Vickie" Lee Dornik (Frank) of Vancouver, Washington, Son, Wayne Eugene Clemetson (Patty) of Vancouver, Washington, Granddaughter, Dava Holladay (Curt) of Yucaipa, California, Granddaughter, Julie White (Michael) of Big Bear, California, Granddaughter, Joanna Clemetson of Lakewood, Colorado, Granddaughter, Cara Rhodes (Steve) of Lakewood, Colorado, Grandson, Kevin Clemetson of Vancouver, Washington, Grandson, Scott Clemetson (Sherah) of Vancouver, Washington, Grandson, Brian Clemetson of Vancouver, Washington, Grandson, Mark Clemetson of Vancouver, Washington, Grandson, Jeff Dornik (Krysten) of Newport Beach, California, Grandson, Mark Dornik (Rachel) of Scottsdale, Arizona, Grandson, Ryan Dornik of Seattle, Washington, as well as 14 great-grandchildren and several other friends and family members.
