A homemaker for over 45 years, Mrs. Casas was a resident of Whittier, Ca. for nearly 65 years.
A Prayer Vigil will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 7:00 pm at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Whittier, Ca.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Bruno Catholic Church, with interment following at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Montebello, Ca.
Dorothy leaves behind her loving family: husband Jeronimo Casas of Whittier, daughter Vivian Casas of La Habra, Ca., son Jeronimo (Laura) Casas of Whittier, son Joseph Casas, daughter Sophia (Peter) Alvarado, daughter Dorothy A. Casas, all of Whittier, 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two more great-grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by her mother Alice Dube of Norwalk, Ca., her sisters: Linda Reyes of Whittier, Pauline Castro of Norwalk, Patsy Waters of Sacramento, Geraldine Maldonado of Whittier, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Dorothy is predeceased by her father, Luis Marez and her brother Louie Marez.

My mom was a woman of God, the rock of our family. She loved unconditionally, spoke whole heartedly, and laughed often,
and made everyone she came in contact with feel welcomed and loved. She taught us through her wisdom, one's most precious and
priceless gifts are free. Which are family, love, and laughter."
