Dorothy L. Valentine

Dorothy L. Valentine, 86, was born in Sandusky, Ohio on December 24, 1925 and passed away in Monterey Park, Ca. on February 9, 2012.
Dorothy was a loving wife and mother. She was active in Montebello Eastern Star, Montebello Masonic Lodge, Los Angeles Shriners, Montebello DeMolay and Job's Daughter's Bethel #84. She took part in the PTA at Eastmont Elementary, Eastmont Jr. High and Schurr High School. She was also involved with the Los Angeles Woman's Club, and the East LA Methodist Church. She was a life long Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Dodgers fan.
She is survived by her son, Bill (Chrissy) Valentine of Alhambra and her daughter, Debbie (Alvino) Cerda of La Puente. She also leaves her sisters, Donna Gruhlke, Carol Nesmeth and Bonnie Keegan, all of Ohio.
Dorothy will be interred with her husband, William Ralph Valentine, who predeceased her in 1996 at Riverside National Cemetery.
