His contributions have left a lasting impact, with the C-17 being used by the US military and its allies around the world.
Edilberto is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria Angeles, and their four children: three sons and one daughter. His family was the center of his world, and he sacrificed everything to ensure their well-being and happiness. Nothing was more important to him than his family.
