Edith Charlotte Hancox, 72, was born in Czechoslovakia on March 3, 1940 and passed away in Montebello on March 10, 2012.
Edith was previously employed as a caregiver for 10 years. She loved being a wife and a mother and would sacrifice all for her children. She had a strong faith in God. Edith was very loyal and a good friend to many. Her favorite pass time was knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed reading, cooking and watching cooking shows. Edith also enjoyed listening to music, especially German music. She had an open ear for everyone and was an excellent listener.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Hancox of Pico Rivera and her daughter, Christina Emmel of Germany. She also leaves 2 grandchildren.
