Edmundo Martin Cruz Profile Photo
Edmundo Martin Cruz, 50, also known as Mundo, was born in Mexico City, Mexico on November 20, 1962 and passed away on October 7, 2013 in Pasadena, California. Mundo immigrated to the United States in 1984 and has lived in the city of Downey since 1990. He worked for Xtra Lease Corporation for 25 years and owned two small businesses.

Edmundo was best known for his passion for adrenaline-inducing activities. From going cliff jumping to sky diving to being thrown off 4-wheelers—Mundo knew no fear. He went all out in everything that he did. Those who knew him knew that he worked to the fullest but most importantly loved to the fullest. There was no medium for Mundo.

Mundo was happily married for twenty-one years to his loving wife, Norma Cruz. The couple was blessed with two children, Evelyn and Ryan Cruz, and, later, Max the dog and Boots the cat joined the family. He was the first born to Seferina and Juan Cruz along with four other siblings: Margarita Juarez, Guadalupe Cruz, Evaristo Cruz and the late Venancio Cruz.

A Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:30 pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel. A Viewing will be held from 1:00 to 1:30 pm, followed by a closed casket visitation from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. Light refreshments will follow.
