Edward Kenneth Guinn, 55, was born in San Pedro, Ca. on October 13, 1956 and passed away in Montebello on October 1, 2012. Edward was previously a Supervisor for 23 years and most recently for Awards Metal Inc., a metal manufacturing company. He also served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years in the 1970's and was given an Honorable Discharge.
Visitation services will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 3:00-7:00pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel, with a Prayer service at 6:00pm. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 10:01am at Riverside National Cemetery. Edward will be given military honors at the cemetery for his proud service in the Marine Corps.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina Guinn of Lancaster and his grandaughter, Aubrianna Vasquez also of Lancaster. He leaves his sisters, Mary Theresa Gonzales of La Puente, Stella Garcia of San Bernardino, Alice Uribe of Los Angeles, Louise Balint of Long Beach and Patricia Guinn. He also leaves his brother, Louis Uribe of La Puente. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Rachel Gonzales and Thomas Gonzales, both of La Puente, Margaret Beil of San Bernardino, Geraldine Uribe of West Covina, William Uribe of La Puente, Jamie Uribe of West Covina, Jennifer Garcia and Jonathan Garcia, both of San Bernardino, Michael Balint and Nadia Balint, both of Long Beach and Allison Uribe of Los Angeles.
