Elaine Kaddis Profile Photo
Elaine Kaddis was born in Egypt and raised in a loving home by her father Pastor Thabit Engalious and her mother Matilda, Elaine Thabit Engalious knew and loved The Lord from a
very young age. Her beautiful sister Amal and her sweet brother Nathan were
blessed partners in her childhood and completed their special family.

As a young adult and after she graduated from nursing school, Elaine was a
missionary to Yemen, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Saudi Arabia. She
later met and married Samuel Kaddis, and they had four wonderful children in the
United States; John, James, Jane and Joseph. Elaine served her family as a
devoted wife and mom, her patients as a dedicated nurse, and the people of God
as a ministry support to her church fellowships. Opinionated, outspoken and full
of wisdom, Elaine's approach of communicating love and honesty guided her as a
gracious counselor and example to many. Whether she was diligently praying for
friends, expertly cooking for loved ones or joyously shopping with and for
family, she always made time to show love...especially to her husband, children
and five amazing grandchildren.

On the evening of September 2nd, 2014, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother,
sister, aunt and missionary of the Gospel, Elaine Kaddis, went to be with The
Lord, surrounded by her loving family. Her entire life was a witness and testimony to the greatness of God. Her clever wit, generously kind heart and hospitable love for others touched so many that it is innumerable. Although she endured numerous health challenges and
painful physical circumstances in recent years, nothing can be compared to the
glory she has now received with our Father in Heaven. Thank you for your prayers
and encouragement during this difficult time as we mourn the loss of her
presence on earth but rejoice in her everlasting peace.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Kaddis of Downey, her children, John (Cathy) Kaddis of Norwalk, James Kaddis, Jane Kaddis and Joseph Kaddis, all of Downey. She also leaves her grandchildren and her sister, Amal (Sam) Galasso of Anaheim.
