Elaine Ida Miljour
April 22, 1949 — November 30, 2015
Elaine Ida Miljour was born to Hubert & Lorraine Johnson on April 22, 1949 in Wabeno, Wisconsin and entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2015 in Whittier, California. She was 66 years old. Elaine was raised on a small farm in Wabeno, Wisconsin. She was employed as a Teacher's Aid in the La Mirada School District for over 20 years.
Elaine was an AWANA leader through her church for 27 years. Her passion was working with children, especially teenagers. She was involved with PTA on all levels, and children's sports and often was the Team Mom. Elaine and her husband hosted over 100 international students through various organizations over the last 30 years, so she has many international "children" as well. Every person she ever met was special to Elaine. She will be missed by so many people.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Edward Miljour of La Mirada, CA, her sons Dominic (Diana) Miljour of Corona, CA, Tony (Becky) Miljour of Tacoma, WA, Kevin (Melissa) Miljour of Steilicoom, WA, and her grandchildren Austin Miljour, Ryan Miljour, Brandon Miljour, Dylan Miljour, Andrew Miljour, Ethan Miljour and Makayla Daniels. She also leaves behind her mother Lorraine Johnson of Wisconsin, and her sisters; Donna Larson and Deborah Stauber, both of Wisconsin, sister Nancy Long of Missouri, brothers Wayne Johnson, Hubert Johnson, Steve Johnson and sister Lisa Johnson, all of Wisconsin, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Elaine was greeted at Heaven's Gate by her sister Mary Antonuk who preceded her in death.
