Elcie Augusta Ekman

Elcie Augusta (Jenia) Ekman, 88, was born on March 30, 1921 in Virginia, Minnesota, and passed away on January 6, 2010 in Montebello, California, where she had resided for many years.
Mrs. Ekman is survived by her loving husband, Charles B. Ekman, daughter, Mary Ekman, sons, John (Ellen) Ekman and Robert (Veronica) Ekman. She also leaves her grandchildren, Steven Ekman, and Celeste Ekman and her sisters, Myrtle (Jenia) Bergquist and Lucie (Jenia) Starkovich. She was preceded in death by her sisters Nevada Jenia and Josie (Jenia) Gannon.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 9:00 am at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello.
