Elias Corona Ramos, 84, was born on March 30, 1938, in Los Angeles, California to Jesus Sanchez Ramos and Maria Corona, and entered into eternal rest on May 4, 2022, in Pico Rivera, California.
Elias worked at Main Steel Company for 20years. After retirement, he moved to Pico Rivera to be closer to family. He enjoyed walking the city every day and visiting his parents at the resurrection cemetery often. He liked to watch old classic movies, Family Feud, and Judge Judy. Almost every story he shared included "my mother used to say" or "my mother used to cook." He was generous to various charities as he said his mother told him it was important to remember the poor. He was very independent, even during his illness insisting to do as much as he could by himself. Christmas 2021 he joined in on family karaoke and did a joyful version of Whitney Houston's " I Want to Dance With Somebody." He will be missed very much by all his family.
Elias is survived by his loving family: Sister, Rosemary Palacio, Nephew, Robert Moya and Juanita Moya of Pico Rivera, CA, Niece, Julissa Gonzalez and Brian Gonzalez of Murrieta, CA, Niece, Donna Velasco and Joe Velasco of Covina, CA, Nephew, Fred Palacio Jr. of Helendale, CA, Great Niece, Hannah Qoshton of La Habra, CA, Great Nephew, Israel Moya of Pico Rivera, CA, Great Niece, Larrisa Ortiz of Murrieta, CA, Great Niece, Kristen Marquez of Glendora, CA, Great Niece, Olivia Velasco of Covina, CA, along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
