Elifia is survived by her loving husband Juan Espinosa of Downey, CA, daughter Eulalia Lily Espinosa (Robert) Mathieu of Victorville, CA, son Noel (Jeanette) Espinosa of Riverside, CA, son Edward (Mariana) Espinosa of Anaheim Hills, CA, daughter Ivette Espinosa (Marcos Suriel) of Downey, CA, and daughter Michelle (Joel) Matos of Downey, CA. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her two sisters; Ada Gomez of New York and Doris Rodriguez of Riverside, CA. Elifia was greeted at Heaven's Gate by her son Johnny Espinosa who preceded her in death.
