Eliza La Scala

Eliza La Scala, 78, was born in Colorado on January 26, 1933 and entered eternal rest in Whittier, California on April 29, 2011.
Eliza is survived by her loving sons; Emmanuel La Scala of Whittier, Eric La Scala of Santa Fe Springs, her step-daughters, Doris Parks of Rancho Cucamonga, Claudia Fierro of San Gabriel and Bernice La Scala of El Sereno, sister; Beatrice Martinez of La Puente and sister-in-law Virginia Martinez of E. Los Angeles; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Eliza graduated from Garfield High School and was involved with the Booster Club. She was very devoted to St. Jude.
Visitation will be held from 5-9:00pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2011 at Risher Montebello Chapel with the vigil service beginning at 7:00pm.
Funeral mass will be held at 9:00am on Thursday, April 5, 2011 at St. Benedict Catholic Church 1022 W. Cleveland Ave.,Montebello, CA 90640. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery 966 N. Potrero Grande Dr.,Montebello,CA 90640.
