Elizabeth Acuna was born on October 11, 1963 in Los Angeles, California to Gilbert Acuna and Maria Guzman and passed away on June 16, 2015 in Pico Rivera, She was 51 years old.
There are so many good qualities about my mom Lisa. First off her laugh was toxic. Her smile could light up any room. A tad on the wild side with the love for her Rock N Roll. I remember when we would clean the house and Fleetwood Mac or The Rolling Stones would be blasting in the background and the broom or mop would be our microphone’s, singing at the top of our lungs and dancing around the house was one of my favorite memories with my mom. Her heart was golden. The love she showed my dad and brother’s was undeniable. She loved her arts and crafts, beading was her favorite and man did she have a knack for decorating a house, nothing matched but she had a way of making it feel like home. Oh man!!! Can she cook, her tacos were the best. Through the good and bad you love with honor and that I praise and will always appreciate, Inked in my chest for eternity. Before any woman there you stood; a protector and a teacher educating my mind with the finer things. Disciplinarian and preacher, patience and understanding, all these talents categorize you as a mother. I can’t thank you enough… I love you MOM!!! May you forever rest in love…
Elizabeth is survived by her son Matthew J. Acuna Vasquez of Norwalk, step-son Sergio (Alexandra) Vasquez of Norwalk, step-daughter Tessee Vasquez of Lake Elsinore and long time companion Sergio Vasquez of Norwalk. She also leaves behind siblings Diane Acuna, Norma Acuna, Virginia Acuna, Cecilia Cardenas, Sandra Santana, Carol Orona, Christina Acuna, George Acuna, David Acuna, Gilbert Acuna, Oscar Acuna and Sylvia Acuna as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
