Elizabeth Castro Ramirez, 89, was born in East Los Angeles, California on June 26, 1924, and passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on June 18, 2014. She was a life-long resident of Los Angeles.
Elizabeth was employed as a cook at Sears Department Stores for 19 years.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel from 5:00-9:00 p.m., and a Prayer Service will begin at 7 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Los Angeles Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Elizabeth is survived by daughters, Pauline Lara of Torrance, Rosalie R. Fimbres of Los Angeles, Rebecca Cordova-Freeman of San Dimas, and sons Steve Ramirez of Los Angeles, Alfonso C. Ramirez of El Monte, and David C. Ramirez of El Monte.
