Ellen Sherard, 89, a long time resident of Southern, California, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 16, 1917, and passed away in Carlsbad, California on April 29, 2007.
Ellen is survived by her loving children, son, Charles Sherard of Cypress, California, two daughters, Sharon Watkins of San Diego, California, Laurie Petras of Encinitas, California, nine Grandchildren and 5 Greatchildren.
Funeral Service will be be held on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 11:00 am at Risher Mortuary Chapel, with Interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the First Methodist Church of Montebello, in memory of Ellen Sherard.
