Elvira K. Hernandez

Elvira K. Hernandez was born in El Paso, Tx. on 7/27/1918 and passed away in San Diego, Ca. on 5/31/11. She previously resided in Ohio prior to moving to San Diego. Mrs. Hernandez was a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed making arts and crafts and playing Bingo. She loved dancing with her great grandchildren.
Viewing will be at St. Francis Xavier church in Pico Rivera on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 9am. A Vigil service will be held at 9:30am and Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park. There will be a luncheon following the graveside.
She is survived by her daughter, Carrol Hernandez of Ohio, one granddaughter and grandson, three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Carol Strawn Center (her Adult Day Care Center), 126 W. Church St., Newark, Ohio 43055.
