Erasmo is survived by his loving parents Erasmo and Maria Elena Meza and his sister Mariaelena Meza of Downey. He also leaves behind his grandparents J. Guadalupe Meza and Julia Carranza of Mexico, uncle Lauro Vargas of Mexico, aunt Rafaela Vargas of Mexico, aunt Aurelia Vargas Acevedo of Fontana, aunt Fermina Vargas Lopez of South Gate, uncle Eugenio Vargas of Mexico, uncle Juan Vargas of Washington, aunt Maria Vargas Jauregui of Downey, uncle Antonio Vargas of Mexico, uncle Victor Meza of Texas, aunt Delia Meza of Mexico, uncle Guadalupe Meza of Texas, aunt Marielena Meza of Mexico and uncle Raul Meza of Mexico in addition to his numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Erasmo's memory.
