Ericka Harold (44) was born on March 21, 1975 in Mexico to Miguel Geronimo Gutierrez and Maria Del Carmen Rojo and entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2020 in Montebello, California.

Ericka Harold was a wonderful mother, wife, nurse, and especially a wonderful person. She is survived by her son, Jacob Dylan Harold. Her husband, Matthew Jason Olney. Her sisters, Lorena Gutierrez, Karla Gutierrez, Luz Gutierrez, Malena Gutierrez, and Leticia Gutierrez. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ericka loved animals very much. She's called her dogs, "squishies". She loved feeding the birds outside of her home and she loved her snake.
Ericka was an outstanding nurse, spending countless hours taking care of those who could not take care of themselves. She would come home with a sad but prideful expression telling her family of stories about her favorite patients and how it would make her extremely sad as she held the hands of patients as they passed away. Ask any nurse that's worked with her and they'll tell you about what a wonderful worker she was. How they would ask her for help with everything. How she made families feel at ease.
Ericka was a true patriot of the USA. She served in the National Guard and supported veterans' businesses and each military branch, offering an ear to every damaged veteran who needed someone go talk to.
But most of all, Ericka was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, friend to her family and friends. If someone asked for help, she would be there. If someone needed love, she would be there. If someone needed a Guardian to protect them, she would be there. Ericka was and will always be held in our hearts as one of the most amazing people this Earth has ever known.
