Ernest C. Escobedo, 92, was born on August 16, 1920 in Fort Worth, TX and passed away on August 9, 2013 in Pico Rivera.
Mr. Escobedo was a Sheet Metal Worker for North American Rockwell for over 38 years. He also served in the United States Army during World War II and was given an Honorable Discharge. He resided in Lynwood for most of his life, and raised his family there as well.
A Visitation Service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel, 1316 Whittier Blvd., Montebello, with a Vigil Service beginning at 5:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 9:00 am at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, 1022 W. Cleveland Ave., Montebello, with Burial following at Calvary Cemetery, 4201 Whittier Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90023.
Ernest is survived by his loving family: daughter Kathleen ann Escobedo of Los Angeles, son Ernest E. Escobedo of Lynwood, granddaughter Camila Gonzalez of Los Angeles, sister-in-law Nadine Escobedo of Montebello, three nieces and one nephew.
