Ernie Vele Enesi, a God fearing man who was well loved, known, and respected by so many, died on January 26, 2022 at the age of 64.

Ernie was born November 19, 1957 (identical twin) to Tipisone Fesilaifa'i Enesi (deceased) and Vailili Toma Enesi in Torrance, California. At a very young, he began music lessons and by his teens he was playing several different instruments and a love for playing competitive sports.

In 1977, he married his church sweetheart Deborah Ainu'u (deceased) followed by fatherhood and so many more life experiences. Fatih, church, and culture was important to him. In 1991, he received his Matai title (Chief's name): "Veletaloola" (Gasito'o Uta).

"Vele" was well spoken, much respected, integrious, and one of the best in the game. Ernie had a great sense of humor, was down to earth with a kind and warm soul full of wisdom and love. His life was rooted in God, family, culture, and music.

Ernie is survived by his loving family:
Mother: Vailili Toma Enesi
Children: Vailili Taufi (Lagiselota), Ernest "EJ" Enesi (Malele "Mary" - deceased), Pastor Odell Enesi (Ruby), and April Enesi
Grandchildren: Lancelot Taugi, Teeleh Taufi, Eteuati Edwards-Enesi, Malele Enesi, Chase Enesi, Bishop Enesi, Layah Edwards, Andrew Edwards, Isyss Enesi, and Jedidiah Enesi
Siblings: Pastor Earle Enesi - identical twin (Sarai), Eugene Enesi (Tumua), and Ana Ulugaono O'Brien (Maise)
Along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family who will love and miss him dearly.
