Esther Rivera Chavez, 89, born in Los Angeles, California and entered eternal life on July 17, 2010 in Montebello, California.
Esther loved life and lived her's to the fulliest. Growing up she discovered her passion for music and singing. She shared that with family and loved to sing to them.
Esther also enjoyed watching Court TV and lets not forget her love of candy. Above all Esther loved her family.
Esther is survived by her loving family; Husband, Thomas M. Chavez of Montebello, Daughters; Vivian Salazar(Joe) of Santa Fe Springs, Linda Womeldorff(Dave) of Montebello and proceeded in death by son Thomas Steven.
Esther also leaves her brothers, David Rivera of Murietta, Bibano Rivera of Santa Ana and sister Benita Rivera of Capistrano and eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great greatgrandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 5-9pm at Risher Chapel with vigil service starting at 7:00pm.
Pre-burial gathering Thursday, July 22, at 9:30 am Risher Reception Center 1316 Whittier Blvd.,Montebello, CA where we will proceed to Resurrection Cemetery for burial.
