Euna Lillian Hetherington
December 10, 1915 — February 20, 2008
Euna Hetherington, 92, a long time resident of Southern California, was born on December 10, 1915 in Ridgetown, Ontario, Canada and passed away on February 20, 2008 in Downey, California.
Euna deeply loved her church and her friends. She was an active member of the Downey Memorial Christian Church and a previous member of the Hope Reform Church and Huntington Park Christian Church. At the majority of church bazaars, you could find Euna volunteering her time and energy joyfully. She thoroughly enjoyed crafts, such as, quilts, sewing and knitting. Euna also enjoyed activities as bingo, pool and even took up bowling at the age of 70. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held privately at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, California.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Downey Memorial Christian Church, 8441 Florence Ave., Downey, California.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Downey Memorial Christian Church, 8441 Florence Ave., Downey, Ca. 90240
