Fernando E. Atilano
November 9, 1958 — December 17, 2011
On December 17, 2011 Fernando "Ed" Atilano went to be with our Lord at the age of 53. He was born Novemeber 9,1958 in Los Angeles. Fernando was the sixth child born to John Atilano and Luz Maria Hernandez Atilano.
Fernando was raised in Montebello and graduated from Montebello High School in 1977, soon after Fernando proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, as a Lance Corporal from 1977 until 1983. Fernando married his high school sweetheart Martha Vital in 1978. They were blessed in 1979 with their first child, Daughter Valerie Elizabeth Atilano, three years later were blessed again with Angela Antoinette Atilano.
In 1985 Fernando remarried Gloria Atilano, who was his wife of ten years and were blessed with a son Edward Manuel Atilano in 1985
Fernando will be remembered as a loving and kind free spirted person who loved his children and family dearly. God saw he was getting tired so he took his Angel home.
Fernando was proceeded in death by his Mother, Father and Brother
Fernando is survived by his loving daughters; Valerie Atilano, Angela Atilano (Micheal) and son; Eddie Atilano. Fernando also is survived by his loving granddaughters; Alyssa Hernandez,
Janae Henry and Jayla Henry, grandson; Devyn Mendoza.Brothers;George,Rene,Hector.Sisters;Martha,Sylvia ,Yolanda and Katie.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 2pm at Fruit Of The Vine Church 11210 Whittier Blvd.,Whittier Ca. 90606 562-692-4811.
