Fernando Flores Viramontes, 57, was born on December 13, 1956 in Mexico and entered into eternal rest on February 8, 2014 in Montebello.
Fernando "Nando" was very hardworking and creative in the construction industry as a Machinist. He is responsible for the design and building of his backyard pool that he built to encourage his daughters to pursue a sport in swimming and water polo. Fernando's favorite past time was cheering on his daughters in their swim meets and dance competitions, as well as other school activities.
Fernando will be best remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. He cherished his daughter's friends and embraced them like they were his own natural children.
Nando will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving family: wife Inez Viramontes, daughters Jackie Viramontes and Jolene Viramontes. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Josefa Viramontes.
Fernando was greeted at heaven gate by his loving father Jesus Viramontes, who preceded him in death.
Visitation Services are scheduled Thursday February 13, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm in the chapel at Risher Montebello Mortuary, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Benedict Church on Friday February 14, 2014 at 10:30 am, with interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
