Born February 1, 1921 in Akron, Ohio, Florence Elizabeth Kille was the youngest child of Leward Isaac Kille and Pearl Benner Kille. At an early age the Kille family moved to San Gabriel where Florence grew up and eventually met and married Dwaine Ross McNulty.
Florence and Dwaine married on July 28, 1939, and shared 62 years together before Dwaine's passing in 2002. Together they raised two children, Penelope Lynn Harrelson (who passed away in 1981) and Paul Dwaine McNulty.
A Montebello resident of more than 60 years, Florence was active in many philanthropic organizations in and around Montebello including: PEO, The Montebello Women's Club, the San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the Nobelettes, Eastern Star, 4-H, and Montebello United Methodist Church. Florence was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, past President of the following: Nobelettes, Montebello Women's Club, and PEO.
Florence was also active in more bridge clubs than one can count and loved to play cards of any kind, but mostly enjoyed Poker and Bridge.
Florence is survived by her son, Paul Dwaine McNulty and his wife Kathy of Mission Viejo, CA; a brother, Donald "Happy" Kille and his wife Betty of Apple Valley, CA; 6 Grandchildren: Ronald Glen Harrelson and his wife Monica of West Covina, CA; Sandra Lynn Green and her husband Bill of Girard, KS; Robert Ross Harrelson and his wife Suzanne of Reno, NV; Susan Elizabeth Harrelson of Sacramento; Tahnee Michelle Crain of Mission Viejo; and Seana Marie Crain of Mission Viejo; 7 Great Grandchildren: Patrick Burns, Justin Harrelson, Candace Potts, Amanda Harrelson, Dakota Harrelson, Tyler Green and Jacob Harrelson; and far more cousins than could possibly be listed.
Visitation Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 5:00 to 9:00pm at Risher Montebello Mortuary. Funeral services Thursday, 11:00am Montebello United Methodist Church with interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA.
