Frank Marquez

Frank Marquez was born on January 29, 1917 to Demetrio Marquez and Julia Miranda.
Frank was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, California with his 5 sisters.
He had a brief union with the Military when he was drafted in to the Army on May 2, 1944 and received an Honorable Discharge on September 6, 1944.
After his father’s untimely death Frank went to live with his oldest sister in E.L.A. on Dozier Street. Here is where he met and fell in love with Mary Arsaga. Mary lived on the same Street with her Parents and siblings. Frank and Mary were married on September 4, 1937 and had 6 children. Ernest Jr., Irene, Julia, Gloria, Marylou and Frankie. They were married for 76 years until Mary’s passing on January 13, 2013 at the age of 97.
Frank was a happy go lucky guy, he enjoyed his life. He was an avid gardener, jewelry maker.
In his later years he enjoyed the Casino’s. Frank passed away peacefully on February 6, 2015 at the age of 98.
