Fred G. Martinez was born on January 16, 1928 in Santa Barbara, California to Zacharias Martinez and Clara Guevara. He entered into eternal rest on May 18, 2019 in Whittier, California at the age of 91.
Hard working and dedicated, Fred was a sheet metal worker for 30 years.
Fred is survived by his loving daughters, Loretta Forniss (Al) of Eastvale, CA, Olivia Martinez of Norwalk, CA, Debbie Biddle (Allen) of Oxnard, CA, and Janet Grenfell (Mondo) of Norco, CA. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Al Forniss Jr. (Monique) of Stanton, CA, Brandon Forniss (Jamie) of Jarupa Valley, CA, Ryan Forniss (Jennifer) of Puyallup, WA, Lorraine Reynoso (Ralph) of Ventura, CA, Jennifer Ovieda of Oxnard, CA, Megan Grenfell of Norco, CA, and Sean Grenfell of Norco, CA, as well as 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Fred was greeted at Heaven's Gate by his loving wife of over 50 years, Eleanor Martinez. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
