Gabriel Manuel Nanez, 52, was born on November 27, 1967 in Los Angeles, California to Manuel B. Nanez and Otilia Gomez, and entered into eternal rest on August 23, 2020 in Los Angeles, California.
As a kid he was known as a daredevil, sliding down hills on cardboard boxes, constructing slip and slides with any piece of plastic, and racing down hills inside shopping carts with his cousins. He was bestowed the name “Popcorn” for which he was still known as today.
As an adult Gabriel dedicated himself to opening and running his own mechanic shop that he owned for many years. Throughout the years he made friends wherever he went as he was the life of the party. He leaves behind his wife of 14 years Helen, and their 4 children, Carlos, Gabriela, Joshua and Moses, who were the center of his world. Gabriel was most happiest when he was on camping trips and vacations with his family. He leaves behind his memory of the fun, adventurous, fearless Dad who will be missed dearly by all whose lives he touched.
