Geraldine "Gerry" May Monroe was called home to the Lord on September 4, 2020 at the age of 95. She was born February 24, 1925 to Hans and Mary Olesen. Gerry resided in Monterey Park for 58 years.
To all that knew her Gerry was a very strong woman who touched many lives. She was married to Bernard John and together they raised 6 loving children.
She was a very well known citizen in the city of Montebello as her and her husband owned the restaurant Broaster Kitchen. Gerry always supported the community and would always help everyone she knew. She was a very caring and loving person to all.
Gerry is survived by her loving Family: Children: Linda Hoffman, Marilee Ann Lindsay (Husband Dennis), Michael Wayne (Wife Trish), Danny James and Donna Monroe, She was blessed to be a grandmother to 8 beautiful grandchildren and 3 beautiful great grandchildren, Siblings: Richard Olesen and Coleen Schroeder, along with other family and friends including all her customers who she made feel a part of her family will love and miss her dearly.
Gerry was reunited with her parents Hans and Mary, her sister Lois, Brother in Law, Bob and her Son Larry as well as her Husband Bernard who were all there to welcome her to her Heavenly Home.
