Gertrud Maria Bouche
April 17, 1939 — May 31, 2022
Gertrud "Trudy" Bouche, 83, was born in Berghausen, Germany, and entered into eternal rest on May 31, 2022, in Monterey Park, California.
Gertrud is survived by her loving daughter, Ina Gursky, son-in-law David and granddaughters Hannah & Christina Gursky, her sister Gisela (Bill) Adams, nephew Erik (Stacy) Adams, and nieces Elke & Cindy Werner. She was preceded by her husband Helmut, and sister Hilde Werner, as well as her parents, Karl & Maria Schwager.
Gertrud was a very devoted wife, mother, aunt, and friend. She was very close to her sister Gisela and her husband Bill. She loved to travel and did so extensively with her late husband Helmut. She worked in the banking world for over 20 years, which influenced her interest in investing. She also grew roses and many other flowers in her garden. She loved her vegetable garden and greatly enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labor with others. She was also very, very devoted to her furry friends, inside cats Emma & Lucy as well as 3 outside cats.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Oneonta Community Church 1515 Garfield Avenue, South Pasadena.
