Gina Alicia Rivas was born December 16, 1976 in Long Beach, California to John and Margarita Dominguez and entered Heaven's gate September 7, 2017. She was 40 years young.
Gina graduated from Long Beach Wilson High school and received her Associate of Arts degree from Long Beach City College. With a loving and caring heart Gina worked as a Special Education Aide for Long Beach Unified for four years.
Gina married her high school sweetheart, Robert, on January 2,1999. They were going on 19 years of marriage this coming January. Gina was a wonderful mother to her three beautiful children, Brianna, Robert, and Brendan. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed watching sunsets with her family and marveling at God’s awesome creations.
Gina enjoyed walking with God everyday. She was a woman of faith and was full of life, love, and laughter. Her beautiful smile would always brighten up any room she was in. Gina always took time out to listen to people and help them in any way she could. She had a heart full of love and a passion for life.
Gina is survived by her loving family: Husband, Robert Rivas, Daughter, Brianna Rivas, Son, Robert Rivas, Son, Brendan Rivas, Parents, John & Margarita Dominguez, Brother, Daniel Martinez, Sister, Anna Aklah, Sister, Angie DeVaney, Sister, Marilyn Fragoza, Sister, Rosaline Flores, Brother, Sam Dominguez, Mother-In-Law, Eva Gettler, Sister-In-Law, Linda Macias, Brother-In-Law, Jesse Macias, Sister-In-Law, Shiyloh Gettler, Sister-In-Law, Moriah Gettler, Brother-In-Law, A.J. Gettler and numerous Aunts,Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
