Guadalupe Garza Profile Photo
Guadalupe Garza, 86, was born on March 16, 1932 in Mexico City, Mexico to Everardo Cosio and Catalina Olivares and entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2018 in Arcadia, California.

Guadalupe was greeted at Heaven's gate by her loving daughter, Lourdes Garza, siblings, Pilar Velez, Mario Gonzalez-Cosio, Guillermina Solis, Teresa Mena, all of which preceded her in death.

Guadalupe was known by her children and close friends as “Chula”. She was a very loving person, always willing to help others no matter who they were or what their social status was. Chula cared for the well being of not just her immediate family, but also her friends and strangers - this was her gift.

The world revolved around her in that she was a true leader, always leading others into doing the right thing. She became an independent woman early in her life when she started her first job at the age of 14. There she quickly ascended to Department Lead and met the love of her life and husband Armando. Being the youngest of 5, Chula from an early age made sure that her parents, immediate and extended family were always well taken care of. She supported her husband throughout her entire life, making sure his success was her success as well. Chula will be remembered as a caregiver, always giving more of herself than she could possibly afford.

Guadalupe leaves behind her loving family: Husband, Armando Garza of Temple City, California, Son, Armando Garza, Jr. (Kathy) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Daughter, Lupe Marquez (Javier) of El Monte, California, Daughter, Amparo Becerra (Victor) El Monte, California, Son, Gabriel Garza (Patricia) of Montebello, California, Son, Louie Garza of El Monte, California, Son, Alex Garza (Debbie) of Junction City, Kansas, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several other family members and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
