Guadalupe Romo
December 13, 1923 — April 20, 2014
Guadalupe "Lupe" Romo, 90, was born in California on December 13, 1923, and entered into eternal rest on April 20, 2014. Lupe spent 20 years as secretary at St. Aloysius Church. She spent her last years in Pico Rivera until entering Dove Hospice House for her final days. She passed surrounded by her loving family.
A visitation will be held at Risher Montebello Mortuary on Thursday, April 24, 2014, from 9:00--10:00 a.m. and the funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Hillary Catholic Church in Pico Rivera. Lupe will be laid to rest at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
Lupe is survived by her daughter, Susan (Chuck) Duran, her sister, Lucy Leon, and granddaughter Monica Kohn. Lupe was greeted at Heaven's Gate by all her friends and family who preceded her in death. May Lupe rest in eternal peace.
