Guadalupe 'Lupe' Uranga, 95, was a long time resident of Southern, California, was born in Mexico on August 21, 1912 and passed away in Whittier, California on October 12, 2007.
Lupe is survived by her loving family, daughters, Rose Rodriguez of Whittier, California, Mary Louise Uranga of Alhambra, California, Lilly Sansom of Sebastibal, California, Teresa Uranga of Santa Clara, California, Mary Helen Salazar of La Puente, California, Carmen Castro of Montebello, California, sons Arthur Uranga of Chino, California, Luis Uranga of North Calorina, Robert Uranga of Los Angeles, California, and 31 Grandchildren.
Visitation and Vigil will be held at Risher Mortuary Chapel, Montebello, California. The visitation will be from 3:30pm to 8:00 pm and the vigil will be at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2007.
The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 900 West La Habra Blvd., La Habra, California, 90631 (562) 691-0533, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery, Montebello, California.
