Gudrun R.G. Trifunovich

Gudrun Trifunovich, lovingly called Oma, 95, was born December 30, 1926 in Rostock, Germany to Louis Becker and Katie Bauer. Gudrun entered into eternal rest on March 6, 2022 in Tarzana, California.

Oma was a vibrant woman who truly defied her age. She had such a lasting impact on everyone
who had the pleasure of meeting her. She had a beautiful, loud laugh that could fill the room and
would always have others laughing and smiling along. She was so friendly and would talk to just
about everyone, even if she just met them. She loved to share stories about her younger years
living in other countries. Her passion for gardening meant that she was outside often either
tending to the garden or relaxing and enjoying the beauty around her. The flowers outside of her
home have always been perfect. Oma was also passionate about animals and had many rescue
dogs and later on was even caring for stray cats. Of course, we can’t forget that she also made
the best goulash ever! Whenever anyone tried to recreate it, it just never came out quite the same.
Oma and her wonderful vibrancy will be deeply missed and mourned by her family and friends.
