Harout Hadjinian, 64, was born in Beirut, Lebanon on May 23, 1947 and passed away in El Monte, Ca. on March 15, 2012.
Harout was previously a self-employed jeweler for 40 years. He loved family gatherings, especially family barbeques. He enjoyed music, the Discovery Channel, all sports, and followed the LA Lakers, LA Dodgers and LA Kings with passion. He loved to make people laugh by telling jokes and thoroughly enjoyed playing poker.
Visitation services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 6-9:00pm at Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Cathedral, with a prayer service at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 1:00pm also at the Cathedral. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Hadjinian of Montebello, his daughter, Sarah (Arthur) Kirakossian of Studio City, and his son and his fiance, Jack Hadjinian of Montebello and Ani Meymarian. He leaves his grandchildren, Anush, Armand and Giovany Kirakossian, all of Studio City and his mother, Ramela Hadjinian of Hollywood. Other surviving relatives include his sister, Rita (Peter) Medvedev of Northridge, cousin Hovik Hovakimian of Temple City, uncles, the Abrahamian Family of Montebello and Northridge, aunts, the Balian Family of San Francisco and the Mangassarian Family of Northridge, brothers-in-law, the Arakelian Family of Montebello and Whittier, cousins, the Miller Family of Montebello and in-laws, Fredrick & Seda Rizzi of Hollywood.
