Harry "Skip" Wulff Hem Jr. was born on November 17, 1943 to Harry and Margaret Hem in Natick, Massachusetts and entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2015 at his residence in Downey, California. He was 71 years old. Skip was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy where he served from 1962 to 1968 and was given an honorable discharge. More recently, he was the Vice President of Materials for Royal Plywood for 26 years but worked in this industry for over 45 years.
Skip is survived by his loving wife Cynthia L. Hem of Downey, daughter Lori (Robert) Ettinger of Orange, son Michael E. (Lisa) Hem of Corona and his four grandchildren; Emma & Grace Ettinger of Orange and Gavin & Madison Hem of Corona. He also leaves behind his eight siblings; Susan Hem of Lake Stevens, WA, Oscar (Cathy) Hem of Renton, WA, John Hem of Seattle, WA, Chis Hem of Seattle, WA, Melody (Eric) Opland of Montana, Margaret Murphy of Levinworth, WA, Thomas Hem of Snohomish, WA and Heather Hem of Lake Stevens, Wa, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
