Hazel Tucker Holland, 87, was born to James Robert Tucker and Daisey Sealey Tucker in Fork, So. Carolina on October 22, 1925 and passed away in Escondido, Ca. on April 23, 2013. She was the 7th of 9 children.
Hazel graduated from Lakeview High School in Lakeview, SC and then went on to graduate from the Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Columbia, SC, Army Cadet Nurse Corps. She was an Intensive Care/Coronary Care Nurse for 40 years and was most recently employed at Palomar Hospital in Escondido.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May1, 2013 at 9:30am at North Coast Church, Main Campus, 2405 N. Santa Fe Ave., Vista, Ca. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am also at the Church, with a private burial following at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido.
Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Melvin Lee Holland. She is survived by her children, Ramona Louise Holland (Eldon) Joslin of Birmingham, AL., Melvin Louis (Maria Isabel Asensio Domingo) Holland of Sevilla, Spain, George Philip (Elizabeth Jane Saylor) Holland of Golden, CO., Rugie Marie Holland of Orange, CA and Nathan Artel (Janeve Rohrs) Holland of San Marcos, CA. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
