Through great passion and dedication, Helen dedicated herself as an eligibility worker for the County Department of Public Social Services for over 20 years. Her favorite things to do was to serve the Lord, helping others, bringing Salvation & the Love of Jesus to them. She loved spending time with family, traveling & going on road trips. Also, enjoyed the country life, gardening, antique shopping & yard sales. Collecting Roosters, & American Flags. Especially eating Ice Cream- Orange/Vanilla.
She leaves behind her loving family: Husband, George Garcia of Norwalk, CA, Daughters: Leticia(Husband Joseph) Gomez of Bellflower, CA, Darlene Garcia of Norwalk, CA, Delilah Garcia-Ma of Norwalk, CA, and MaryAnn Garcia of Norwalk, CA, Grandchildren: Desiree Ma of Fresno, CA, Doreen Ma of Fresno, CA, and Diego Ma of Fresno, CA, Helen also has a great-grandson on the way, Sisters: Jessie Garcia of Brawley, CA, Manuela Pedroza of Brawley, CA, Rosemary Rubio of Brawley, CA, along with other family and friends who will love and miss her dearly.
Helen was met at Heavens Gate by her parents: Melquiadez and Mary Romero, siblings: Peter Romero, Valentine Romero, Gloria Romero.
