Helen Potter was born to Ralph and Pauline Craig on September 5, 1911 and entered into eternal rest on June 9, 2016. She was 104 years old.
"My mother was a humble and elegant lady. She was always kind and helpful to others. She was famous on our block for giving food to neighbors if she found out they didn't have anything to eat. She started her career in 1925 at Knollwood Country Club in Michigan until 2004. All those years she knew many generations of families at that club. She was especially loved by the Ladies of Knollwood Country Club. During WWII she went to work at Chrysler Corporation for the war effort. She always spoke her mind, and taught me to be the best at whatever I wanted to be. She always told me 'I want you to be coffee with good cream.' All that I am I owe to my Mother, thank you mom." - Daughter Rita
