Henry John Javier, 86, was born on March 20, 1927, in Kohala, Hawaii and passed away in Apple Valley, California on June 19, 2014. He had been a resident of Monterey Park, CA. since 1952.
Henry was employed as a supervisor at Lockheed Corporation in the Aircraft Manufacturing Industry for 37 years.
Henry proudly served his country as an enlisted man in the Army from August 1945 to March 1949 and was was Honorably Discharged.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel on Friday, June 27, 2014, followed by a Graveside Service at Resurrection Cemetery. A Gathering is scheduled for 12:00-3:00 p.m. in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Reception Center with traditional Hawaiian food.
Henry is survived by his loving wife Esther; children Adela, John, Cheryl, James, and Dolly; grandchildren Natalie, Jessica, John, Dennis, Chelsea, Nicole, and Tyler; great grandchildren Ashton Cooke, Kaydyn Lee Anthony Wright, Helena, Isiah, Andy, Ilena, Sophia Esther, Evangeline; brother John (Nina) and sister Mildred.
