Henry Clyde Newton, 83, was born in Prarie Carroll, Arkansas on March 18, 1930 and passed away in Bellflower, Ca. on March 28, 2014. He was previously employed as a Drafting Engineer for Boeing in the Aerospace Industry for 35 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was given an Honorable Discharge. Mr. Newton will be given full military honors when he is laid to rest in his homeland of Arkansas.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2014 at 6:00 pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel. He will then be flown to Kansas City, Missouri and interred in the Maple Hill Cemetery there.
Mr. Newton is survived by his son, Mark (Maggie) Newton of Santa Fe Springs, his grandsons, Shane Henry Newton of San Bernardino, Derek Andrew Newton of Corona and Brennan James Newton of Santa Fe Springs. He also leaves his step-daughters, Patricia Ann Martinez of Kansas and Jenny Mason of Missouri.
