Melvin Jack McDonald was born to Elsie and Kenneth McDonald on July 5, 1933 in Alhambra, California and entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2016 at his residence in Whittier, California. He was 82 years old. Jack was previously employed as an Air Traffic Controller for 22 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was given an Honorable Discharge.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Alice Marie McDonald of Whittier, CA and his five children; son Stephen John (Mary) McDonald of Trophy Club, TX, daughter Jacqueline Marie (Neil) Hurley of Chesapeake, VA, son Kenneth Anthony (Rebecca) McDonald of Silverdale, WA, son Eugene Paul (Kyoko) McDonald of Castaic, CA and son Thomas Jerome (Carrie) McDonald of Fredonia, AZ. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and his sister Marion Tutor of Redding, CA.
