Dr. Ousley grew up Whittier and moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1967 and to Greeley, CO in 1970 where he lived until 2004 except for two years spent in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
In 1952 he married Babara Louise Wells of Whittier, CA. They were divorced in 1969. In 1972 he married Mita Griffin of Phoenix, AZ. They were divorced 1975 and in June of 1975 married Dr. Jane Carlon Cox of Greeley. She died in May 2003.
Dr. Ousley earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music at Whittier College, a Masters's Degree in Psychgology at California State College in Los Angeles and a Doctorate in Special Education Administration at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He was an educator for more than 30 years. In the 1970's and 1980's Mr. Ousley was an Assistant Professor of education at the University of Northern Colorado. His last position before retirement in 1993 was with Right To Read of Weld County, Inc. in Greeley, CO.
He is survived by his son David Ousley of Kora, Hawaii, two daughters Lisa Santoni and Janice Munoz both of Whittier, CA., five grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and various cousins.
