James "Jim" Everett Warren was born to Tina and Amos Warren on September 13, 1928 in Ventura, California and entered into eternal rest on September 10, 2016 at his home in La Verne, California. He was 87 years old. James was a proud US Army Veteran and was given an honorable discharge. More recently, James was an expediter in the logistics industry for over 25 years.
Jim enjoyed traveling with his family as well as touring on his Honda Gold Wing over the last 30 years. They (Jim & Jackie) belonged to a motorcycle touring club "The Cal 4's". They also enjoyed being Sr. Patrol officer's with the LASD (Los Angeles County Sheriff) for Diamond Bar CA. Jim took many opportunities to participate in community activities & charities through these 2 organizations. As part of the families request donations to the USO are being requested in lieu of flowers for the following reason:
Jim & Jackie actually first met (while he was in the US Army, attached to
the MASH UNIT of FT MAC ARTHUR) at a local USO dance in June/July of 1951.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline (Jackie) Eshnaur Warren of La Verne and his daughter Vicki (Michael) Fiorille of Eastvale. He also leaves behind his two grandchildren; Christopher Warren Fiorille of Eastvale and Kathleen Lee Fiorille of Rancho Cucamonga.
Condolences may be sent to his family through our website.
In lieu of flowers, his family is requesting that donations be made to the USO on behalf of James & Jacqueline
