Raised in Mexico, he bravely traveled to the United States at age 13 for a chance at a better the life for himself and his family. At age 21 he married his only love, Mary Helen Castaneda, in Oakland California. In 1998 Javier and Mary Helen had their one and only son Javier Manuel Padilla. He had many jobs over the course of his life, but was most proud of the 15 years he spent working for Kaiser Permanente as a lift technician. His legacy is the strong and meaningful relationships he created over the course of his life.
Javier is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Padilla, son, Javier Padilla, mother, Yolanda Luna Islas, sister, Gabriela Padilla Luna, sister, Yolanda Padilla Luna, brother, Paulino Padilla Luna, and brother, Fabian Padilla Luna.
