Jesus Herrera, 76, was born on January 26, 1933 in Michoacan, Mexico, and passed away on April 19, 2009 in Montebello, California.
Jesus is survived by his loving wife, Soledad Herrera, sons, Jesus Herrera Jr., Florentino Herrera, Rioberto Herrera, Gilberto Herrera, daughters, Lydia Herrera, Maria Dolores Herrera, Martha Herrera, Guadalupe Herrera, Daisy Herrera, mother, Natalia Herrera, brothers, Francisco Herrera, Luis Herrera, sister, Carmen Herrera, twenty-six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Luis Herrera.
Visitation will be from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Friday, April 24, 2009, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello, California, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
